MINNESOTA WEDDING VENUES

The Beach Club — Minneapolis, MN

The Beach Club in Minneapolis is the epitome of traditional elegance. Once an exclusive members-only club, the building’s second level now offers a private space for weddings and events. Just minutes from the vibrant Uptown district of Minneapolis, the Beach Club is as posh as it is nostalgic. The venue boasts sparkling chandeliers, mirror-tiled walls, a grand staircase, and large arched windows overlooking a spacious deck for guests to mingle and enjoy the beauty of Lake Bde Maka Ska. Not only does the Beach Club provide a gorgeous setting for your wedding day, the venue is operated by D’Amico Catering so you know you’re in great hands with their venue coordinators and delicious catering!

The Hutton House — Medicine Lake, MN

If you’re looking for a modern “blank slate” venue where you can bring your wedding design dreams to life, you need to tour The Hutton House. With two bright indoor spaces and walls of sliding glass doors that open to a gorgeous courtyard, this has to be one of the most stunning venues in the Minneapolis area. The Fireside Room features a stunning white brick fireplace that makes a picture-perfect backdrop for an indoor ceremony and adds a cozy ambiance to cocktail hour. The Lakeside Room, with soaring ceilings and simple chandeliers, allows the perfect opportunity for couples to personalize their day to their own unique style. We love helping our couples plan rentals and decor for this beautiful venue! And of course, we also love working with the Hutton House team. We’re proud to say we’ve been on their preferred vendors list for 3 years now!

Ivory North — Mora, MN

Ivory North is the perfect venue for couples who want a charming countryside feel to their wedding with modern amenities. Built in the early 1900s and renovated with modern flair, the historic gambrel barn is now all clean lines, bright whites, and natural wood tones. Couples can get married in the elegant white barn (where you’ll later dance the night away!) or in the romantic field. For social hour, guests will enjoy yard games on the lawn before dinner is hosted in the open-air dining pavilion. The stunning pavilion gives a bit of a so-cal vibe — bistro lights, black wire chairs, a white brick fireplace, and a covered patio with beachy lounge seating make you feel like you’re on the coast rather than in the midwest. We’ve listed venues in alphabetical order, but we have to admit, Ivory North might be our all-time favorite. This is a Minnesota barn venue unlike any other.

Lafayette Club — Minnetonka, MN

The Lafayette Club is one of Twin Cities’ most memorable venues, known for its classic ambiance, rich history, and gorgeous lakeshore setting. What we love most is of course that swanky country club feel! Overlooking Crystal Bay and a perfectly manicured golf course, the members-only club is sure to impress from the moment you drive up. Picturesque ceremonies are hosted in the outdoor garden. Inside, guests are greeted by a stunning fountain before entering the reception rooms. The Lakeview Room and large deck are perfect for social hour, before moving into the elegant Crystal Ballroom for your reception. If you’re searching for a venue that exudes timeless luxury, the Lafayette Club is it!

Redeemed Farm — Scandia, MN

Redeemed Farm is the perfect venue for couples who want their day to feel like a fairytale. As a farm, you may be thinking of a rustic “country” barn, but Redeemed Farm is far more elegant and enchanting. Set on a family farmstead and small vineyard, the grounds include a charming restored barn, a modern all-white stable, a social hour pavilion with eclectic vintage touches, the vineyard lawn, and a lush garden in the middle of it all. Throughout the night, your guests will mingle and move from place to place, enjoying the natural landscape and opportunity to explore. Despite its serene and secluded feel, the venue is just 40 minutes from Minneapolis in Scandia, Minnesota, making it a go-to for an intimate indoor/outdoor wedding!

Rustic Roots Winery — Scandia, MN

In the heart of St. Croix Valley wine country, you’ll find Rustic Roots, a stunning winery and 80-acre vineyard. Hands down one of the most beautiful wineries in Minnesota, the relaxed atmosphere at Rustic Roots is perfect for an elegant-yet-casual wedding. Ceremonies are held under the pergola on a hill overlooking the vineyard and St. Croix River Valley — it’s so stunning I admit your guests might be distracted by the views during your ceremony! For the reception, guests move to the sail-top events tent, which of course offers more gorgeous views of the vineyard. It’s such a peaceful setting to celebrate your marriage and the natural beauty means you can take a minimalist approach to decor. This is also such a special venue because as a public winery, you and your partner can continue celebrating your marriage here year after year with date nights and anniversaries!

Willow Brooke Farm — Red Wing, MN

Willow Brooke stands out as an idyllic venue for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Minneapolis. Located an hour south of the cities in Red Wing, Minnesota, this romantic farm features scenic landscapes and modern reception spaces. As you’ve probably gathered from this list, I love venues that allow an indoor/outdoor flow! At Willow Brooke, you’ll exchange vows in the vineyard (or the charming 150-year-old barn), mingle with guests in the airy pavilion during social hour, and celebrate the evening in the contemporary White Willow Barn. In my eyes, the venue is the perfect balance of rustic-charm-meets-luxury. Not to mention, Red Wing is the perfect town for a weekend “destination” wedding — from exploring the many parks and bluffs to browsing cute shops and trying the local restaurants, there’s so much for you and your guests to enjoy! Check out the City of Red Wing website for things to do.
