Jordan and Eric’s Fairytale Flower Farm Wedding in Stillwater, Minnesota

Jordan and Eric had the most romantic garden wedding last August at Camrose Hill. Surrounded by quiet woods and so many flowers, the venue felt far away; the perfect setting for their fairytale wedding.

Camrose Hill Flower Farm in Stillwater, Minnesota is a magical place. There is a rustic and enchanting barn (the indoor ceremony location, decorated with string lights and chandeliers), an expansive lawn perfect for social hour, and a permanently-tented pavilion-style reception space. It has character and charm with subtle vintage touches throughout, such as the lounge in the bridal cottage and garden decor like a wheel cart-style gift/guestbook table, a rustic welcome sign, and a birdcage card “box”.

The highlight of the property is the beautiful gardens with fragrant, lush flowers and romantic twinkling lights through the woods. As a flower farm, they provide all floral for weddings hosted at the venue. Jordan and Eric chose a delicate color palette of soft blues, blush pink, cream, and white, with pops of peach. Again, straight out of a fairytale!

~ THE CEREMONY ~

The couple had the choice between two outdoor ceremony sites; tucked into the woods is the Fairy Glen, and on the lawn is the Chapel. Jordan and Eric chose the chapel site, a bright and sunny spot in front of a pergola. The arch was beautifully decorated with greenery, white roses, and other soft pink and blue blooms. It was one of the largest floral arches we’ve seen!

The Loring String Quartet serenaded guests as they arrived and performed during the processional and recessional. The wedding party walked down the aisle to “Love Story” by Taylor Swift. Jordan, who was escorted down the aisle by both parents, was a modern-day princess in a strapless sweetheart gown. She walked down the aisle to “Halo” by Beyoncé.

During the ceremony, the couple included their parents, siblings, and their siblings-in-law in a rose unity ceremony. Each family member placed a single white rose in a vase; the bouquet was completed when Jordan and Eric placed their flowers in the vase, signifying the blend of the two families with a beautiful keepsake bouquet.

After the big kiss, the couple waltzed out to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are The Best Thing” and their smiles prove this couldn’t be more true!

~ THE RECEPTION ~

Reception tables were decorated with a mix of votive candles and clear and blue vintage bud vases with bright blooms. Silver charger plates completed each table. The head table, set for 28, was a stunning focal point with the venue’s eclectic mix of vintage chairs and an enchanting “chandelier” of vines and hanging lights, a permanent statement feature at the venue.

Our favorite part of their day was the thoughtful speeches and toasts! Jordan’s dad brought the room to tears and speeches from the maid of honor and best man made clear how kind, loving, and genuine Jordan and Eric each are. Their first dances were equally sweet, as the couple and their parents shared dances under twinkle lights in the pavilion.

It was such a joy to help these two celebrate!

From the over-the-top ceremony arbor to the whimsical details, Eric & Jordan's wedding was nothing short of a fairytale.

Jordan and Eric hired us for our Wedding Management services. We stepped in during the final months to assist with remaining to-dos, create their wedding day timeline, and coordinate final logistics with vendors. Here’s what they have to say about working with us!

"When we hired HappiLily, we knew we would be getting some great help with our wedding, but we had no idea just how helpful and essential Lily & team would be to us!

Lily is incredible at her job. She is very organized and knows what questions to ask of her couples and their vendors. We got to enjoy both our wedding day and the planning leading up to it much more because of HappiLily. We give our strongest recommendation to hire this team!"
