Glam Spring Wedding at Rustic Roots Winery
Tyler and Katlyn’s wedding at Rustic Roots Winery was beyond stunning. See for yourself how we turned a spring winery wedding into a boho glam celebration.
Innate Light
Rustic Roots Winery in Scandia, Minnesota is a lush 80-acre vineyard in the St. Croix River Valley. This romantic-yet-relaxed setting was perfect for Katlyn and Tyler’s dream of an outdoor wedding.
The couple’s unique wedding vision was boho-glam with a little bit of beachy inspiration. Their color palette leaned into earthy shades of champagne, terracotta, chestnut, and peach. Bridesmaids wore mismatched satin dresses and groomsmen wore more casual tan linen suits. Florals featured lots of white blooms, including calla lilies and magnolias, and bold textured ferns and dried grasses.
The ceremony was held up on the hill overlooking the vineyard. Katelyn and her bridesmaids created a large boho floral arbor that we affixed to the venue’s pergola, and later repurposed as a statement arch at the tent’s entrance. The couple’s friends in the band HardCastles played for the processional and performed a beautiful acoustic song during the unity ceremony — to symbolize their marriage and shared love of creative endeavors, the couple created a unique painting together with acrylic pour paints! Don’t worry, Katlyn didn’t spill on her dress!
After the ceremony, the celebration continued on the vineyard lawn. Guests were welcomed into social hour with a tower of wine glasses, set up on the table by the couple’s cutting cake. The events tent was glammed up with string lights and Phos installed sparkling chandeliers over the head tables for a dramatic touch. Tables were decorated with cheesecloth runners and pillar candles, with some tables having neutral-toned bud vases and others having larger floral meadows. Of course, the tables wouldn’t be complete without wine glasses and bottles of wine from the winery!
A Moment for the Dress
Katlyn’s dress was BREATHTAKING. Her gown, designed by Berta, featured a strapless bodice and form-fitting silhouette. With lacy details, tasteful sparkle, an open back, and sheer detachable sleeves, the dress was flirty and romantic and couldn’t have been a more perfect choice for Katlyn and her glam winery wedding vibes.
Berta has an avant-garde design style, which they describe as “one that tests the barriers and boundaries of the modern world of fashion design.” The dress styles are famous for being bold, sexy, and modern, all while combining vintage materials and retro styles. Katlyn wore one of the Berta PRIVÉE designs and we LOVED her look!
