“We will always be grateful to Lily & HappiLily Events! We hired Lead Planner & Owner Lily Hansen for her full-service VIP package. We planned our Minnesota wedding from out of state, and Lily went above and beyond to help us feel like we were right there all along.
We started working with Lily approx 9 months before our wedding, and she helped us snag a dream venue, and helped introduce us to an incredible videographer (that we wouldn’t have found otherwise!), and helped us coordinate every other major vendor, and manage every tiny detail.
The resources and support Lily provides are bar none. I felt like Lily really cared about us not only as her clients, but as people and as a couple. She spent the time really getting to know us, and what we wanted, which left me free to fully enjoy my wedding day. Lily was always quick to respond, was incredibly communicative & knowledgeable about the industry and wise practices.

“When you say you deliver that ‘best friend experience’ you are dead on with that... It never felt like we had a coordinator, it felt like we had someone who understood our goals and dreams of what the wedding should be, like we had been talking to you about it since before we got engaged.
We know we talked to you after the event, but our thank you’s just don’t seem like enough. You were a complete pleasure to work with, and even yesterday we made the comment that we both already miss getting emails from you. You were very patient and kind to us, and the little things meant so much. Jesse keeps kicking himself because he had a list of people he wanted to thank during his welcome speech but never wrote anything down, and we both feel it a disservice to not have given you the credit you deserve in helping us plan that day out.

If there is one piece of advice I could give to a bride/groom, it would be to hire a wedding planner. Specifically, HappiLily Events (obviously!!).
When I think back to our wedding day, there is nothing that comes to mind that I wish would have gone differently. This was no happy accident. It was hours and hours of Lily's time and dedication that went into making our wedding day exactly as we had envisioned.
Halfway through the day I realized I had no idea what time it was, because Lily was making sure everything was happening exactly when it needed to be. It was truly the most stress-free process, and I know everyone who uses HappiLily will have this experience.

Lily was our coordinator for our wedding and was so amazing to work with.
She kept us organized in the month leading up to the big day, and kept things smooth throughout the entire event. I joked that I wasn't aware of any snags or hiccups during the event, which probably meant she was doing a great job keeping me away from all of the decisions, logistics, coordination, etc.
It took so much stress off me and my family to know she was taking care of all those details on the day of the wedding. Plus she's super sweet and fun to be around - a cherry on top! I definitely recommend working with Lily for your big day.

Hire Lily! She offers multiple packages that are honestly a steal for the amount of effort/work she and her team puts in. We went with a smaller coordination package but wish we would have brought her in sooner to help.
Lily provides you with a large collection of wedding documents that walk through every step of the planning process without making your head hurt. The service also comes with so many helpful tips, suggested vendors, and anything else you can think of. She was always helpful and responsive on any concerns or questions I had throughout the process. Months leading up to and the wedding day was so enjoyable because Lily had every avenue covered. I was able to experience the day instead of worrying over details/schedule.
My husband never said don't hire a coordinator - but he wondered if it was a needed expense. After our first meeting with Lily and after our wedding he looked at me and said 'I am so glad we hired her.'“

As a wedding officiant, when the couple hires a planner, it makes everything flow so much more easily for me. I had the pleasure of working with Lily and her crew, at a wedding this weekend. She was on top of every detail, of course, but in addition to that she also had a laid back demeanor and good humor, which I very much appreciated. She even came to the rehearsal, which most planners do not attend. The site was a tricky one, with a sunken garden and an interesting, but challenging, layout. Together we were able to figure out the best flow in the unusual space, which looked absolutely seamless on wedding day.
