A Cozy Winter Wedding at The Hutton House

Courtney and Jesse’s December wedding was the most fun-filled wedding with cozy Christmas touches! From the gifts under the tree to the Christmas cookies and candy cane guest favors, every detail was intentional and perfectly holiday-inspired.

The Hutton House, renowned for being one of Minnesota’s best modern “blank-slate” venues, was the perfect setting for Courtney and Jesse’s cozy Christmas vision. The space felt warm and inviting with the couple’s color palette of dark red, green, and crisp white.

The ceremony was held in the cozy Fireside Room. We decorated the fireplace mantle with a garland lit with Christmas lights, and hung the couple’s stockings over the fire! Next to the mantle, a large Christmas tree was put up so guests could put their gifts under the tree!

In the Lakeside Room, guest tables were set with wreaths and candles. Pinecones and cranberries made the perfect accents, and each place setting received a candy cane with a heartfelt thank you note from the couple.

One of our favorite design elements was using the venue’s projector to put up a never-ending scene of snow falling outside a window! It was such a fun design element and made the space feel even more cozy.

Pro tip: ALWAYS upgrade to floor-length linens. It makes every space look more elegant.
